On behalf of Wisconsin Investment Banking Club, we are delighted to welcome you to the First Annual Wisconsin Finance Conference. Given the massive dislocation in global financial markets experienced over the past two years and recent emerging signs of recovery, we selected a theme for this conference that acknowledges the past while focusing on future opportunities in the financial services industry. This conference, entitled “The New Wall Street” will explore the ways in which companies have adapted to rapidly changing economic and regulatory environments.
We are pleased and honored to be given the opportunity to host a conference designed to educate students on the world of finance during such dynamic and turbulent times. Through our gracious speakers, we hope to inform students of all backgrounds on the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.
We want to thank the distinguished speakers, faculty and staff who have agreed to participate in and contribute to the conference. We would also like to thank our fellow Investment Banking Club members for their hard work and dedication.
Finally, we would like to give special thanks to Jamie Marsh, Terry Maxwell, Alisa Robertson, and Jim Seward without whom this conference would have not been possible.
Your Conference Co-Chairs,
Richard Qian
